Summer baseball has started with a bang, with Edmond North hosting the summer's first
tournament for Junior Varsity teams. So far our two JV teams are a combined 3-1 and
Rookie 2 is 2-0 for the first two days of play. Get out this weekend to see your favorite
Husky baseball team in action.
Parents, please be sure to check the website schedule page. There is still some shakeout
going on with many different teams' schedules, and they will affect our schedule, as well.

2012 Class 6A State Champions
The Huskies win the 2012 Oklahoma Class 6A Baseball State Championship.
This one will be talked about for many years to come as the Huskies shut out the defending
state champion and #1 ranked Broken Arrow Tigers 3-0 behind the pitching of Tyler Welch.
Congratulations to a great bunch of young men, players and coaches, who defied
conventional wisdom and beat the best at their own game in their own back yard.

WE MADE IT. INDEED, IT'S TIME!!!
On Thursday the Huskies advanced to the 6A State Baseball Championship game with a
4-1 win over local rival Yukon. Garrett Molinsky turned in a complete game for the Huskies.
On Saturday, May 12, 2:30 pm the Huskies will play the #1 team in the state, the
Broken Arrow Tigers
at J.L. Johnson Stadium on the campus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa.
Tell your friends and neighbors to come out and support the Huskies in their pursuit of
their first baseball state championship.

Huskies win, advance to State Semifinal Game!!!
The Huskies beat perennial powerhouse Owasso 4-2 behind the pitching of ace Kyle
Stephens to advance to the semifinal game of the 2012 Oklahoma 6A State Baseball
Tournament.
The Huskies will play a familiar foe and fellow district member Yukon Millers at 4:00 pm on
Friday, May 11.
Be sure to make the drive to Claremore to cheer the Huskies on to victory

Huskies Victorious, on to State!!!!!!!!!!!
The Edmond North Huskies advance to the baseball state tournament for the first time in 8
years with a 7-1 victory over the host Southmoore team on Friday evening.
Edmond North's next game will be in the state tournament at Claremore High School as the
Huskies face off with the Owasso Rams in a first round game next Thursday, May 10. Game
time is 4:00 pm. For the bracket, click here.
Be sure to make the trip to Claremore next Thursday and support the Huskies in their bid to
be the first west side school to win the Class 6A State Championship in Baseball.

Physicals are approaching. We have about 10 physicians signed up to help. We will have
them in the North Gym on Thursday, May 17th at 6pm.
The cost is $10. All athletes and all sports for North are welcome. Middle schoolers in our
vertical are welcome as well.

We Want Your Game and/or Event Photos!!!
ENBC has an account at WinkFlash, so feel free to upload to it!
Here's what you do:
1. Go to WinkFlash by clicking on their logo to the left
2. Click on Member Sign In
3. Type EdmondHuskies as the User ID
4. Type Baseball as the password.
From there, you can then create folders and upload game and/or ENBC
event photos. You can also upload photos into existing folders.
5. Title your folders something like "03-08-08 JV vs. Santa Fe"
or "2008 Fall Car Wash Photos," etc.
So be sure you take your camera to your son's games and/or ENBC
events and take lots of shots because we want everyone to see them!
